Modern Golf Swing philosophy focuses greatly on the role of the back (spine). The spine is constantly changing throughout the swing with combinations of Tilting, Turning, Extending and Flexing to achieve certain positions that help guarantee a solid shot and a consistent shot shape.
The stronger we can make our back and core the easier it is to produce the movements. This video below is probably the best I’ve found to date, and I can speak from experience – after implementing these exercises your back will feel stronger.
