If the idea is to push down aggressively into the lead foot at the start of the downswing (p4-p5). How is this possible if the hips sway over the trail foot?
Every Tour Pro and expert player I’ve studied and worked with pushes down aggressively into the lead foot at the start of the downswing.
This is essential to produce speed, and also to move the hips forward to help enable the low point of the swing to occur AFTER THE BALL HAS BEEN STRUCK!
Agree tho i might do it a slightly different way But i do load my left glute even tho i would say i have a slightly right side backswing! Im just realising how hard it is to describe a good golf action! Anyway the better ive got the more my left side explodes!
Agreed! Feel the trail glute on the way back and lead glute on the way down.
