key points to focus on:

1. Understand that in order to achieve a better pivoting action with your body, you need to extend, tilt and turn. Not just turn!

2. Straighten your right leg more in your backswing.

3. Extend and Tilt your spine more towards the target on the backswing. This happens straight away during the takeaway and all the way up to the top of your backswing.

4. Practice The ELK Drill at home to get used to your new pivot.

Note: I’ve coached many guys your age and older Tom. It’s generally not a flexibility problem, it’s a technique problem. Commit to making these moves, and you’ll see your left shoulder under your chin, and it will be easier to get the shaft a little more under your right shoulder coming down.
